Seven tips to rev up your sales!

Rather than searching for the latest and greatest marketing techniques, sometimes you just have to enhance what you’re already doing. A tweak or a little extra effort can make a big difference. Here are some ideas:
- Put your phone number on the top of your website. If it isn’t easy to find some people will lose interest. And add your social media links.
- Be sure your phone number is clickable from a mobile phone. It may mean upgrading your website to one that is mobile-friendly.
- Get social! Don’t let your social media accounts go unattended. Post updates on Facebook, interact with your contacts on LinkedIn and if you use Instagram or Pinterest, make sure you upload photos. Be sure to tag them correctly too! Too lazy to constantly tweet or post? Use HootSuite or another social media management tool to put meaningful content out on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
- Update your business in local directories such as Google my Business, Yelp and Bing Places for Business. Add photos, make sure the contact info is accurate and ask your clients to add testimonials.
- Network! Join a new B-2-B group such as the local Chamber of Commerce, an industry organization or BNI.
- Touch the customers you already have. Personally or digitally. Pick up the phone, send out an email newsletter or ask them to opt-in to receive text message offers.
- Wear a shirt or jacket with your company’s logo and website on it. It’s often a conversation starter. And if you have a truck or vehicle for your business it should display your logo and contact information too!
